My skin looks red straight after using the mask — is that normal?

Should I use skincare products before or after?

Cleanse your face first, then use the mask on clean, dry skin.

After your session, apply gentle hydrating products such as a serum or moisturiser. Avoid applying retinol, AHA/BHA acids, or strong actives (including vitamin C) immediately before or after your session, as these can increase sensitivity and the chance of mild irritation. If you use these products in your routine, apply them at a different time of day (for example, retinol or vitamin C in the morning and light therapy at night) or on alternate days.
